Our Land, Our Rights

The Kanu family have been making a living from farming for generations. But when the last male member of the family dies, their fields are taken from them, since according to tradition women are not allowed to own land. Although the situation seems to be hopeless, the Kanus decide to fight for their land and their rights.

»Men are of the view that women should not own land. But that’s wrong.«
