COME, I’LL SHOW YOU THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN

COLOMBIA

With a population of nearly 50 million, Colombia (officially the Republic of Colombia) lies in the north of South America, with coasts on the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. It borders Panama, Venezuela, Brazil, Peru, and Ecuador. The capital city is Bogotá, and the official language is Spanish.
>/br>
In Columbia, an armed conflict lasting 50 years was finally settled in 2016. Distribution of income continues to vary drastically by region, and poverty is especially prevalent in rural regions.
>/br>
Colombia is among the most dangerous countries for media professionals. Death threats, physical assaults, and kidnappings occur frequently. Police offer little protection, and courts rarely prosecute such crimes. On the 2020 World Press Freedom Index published by Reporters without Borders, Colombia ranked 130th out of 180 countries
